He said the spirit of inclusiveness should be implemented for the interest of women, dalits, Madhesis, indigenous, nationalities, minorities and backward classes in the changed context by taking a leap from the centralized and traditional practices of the state in the past.
The minister was speaking at a discussion with stakeholders organised at the Ministry of Information and Communications in the context that a hunger strike was started Tuesday by the Madhesi Journalists Society Nepal at the face-to-face chamber of the Madhes Media House to make the media inclusive.Minister Yadav said timely changes should be made in laws to implement the inclusiveness.
At the programme, FNJ President Shiva Gaunle said journalism is not limited to one caste, religion and sector but is universal and that news rooms should be inclusive.
