How To Build Muscle Fast

How To Build Muscle Fast

In some point in our lives every one of us asks ourselves how to build muscle. There are tones of training routines that you can see every day when you are online, but all this information, confuses someone who just started building muscle or just trying to find the right training routine.

Best thing to do if you are new in fitness, and building muscles, is to stick to the basics in workout and diet. Here am going to explain how to do that simply and fast.

Exercise at GYM

In my opinion the easiest and fastest way to build muscle is lifting weights in gym. You can ask in your gym for a training plan. Also every gym has a trainer who will instruct you how to workout properly.

So the first step is to get a training plan. After that learn hot to workout properly. Here are some more tips and trick that you must follow.

Do basic workouts

It is weary important to do basic workouts which include many muscle groups. Including many muscle groups means doing basic exercise such as squats, dead-lifts, bench press and chin-ups. These exercises are best for building strength, and more strength means more muscles and muscle mass.

Do low repetitions

My advice would be to keep your repetitions at first 10-15 repetitions. Then after you learned how to workout properly and you muscles and joints get used to training, after about three weeks change your repetitions. Now keep your number of repetitions low, between 6-10 repetitions.

Increase weights that you are lifting

Also, after you learned how to workout properly, you must increase weight you lift. Increase your weight that much that your number of repetitions don t go over 6-10 repetitions. Increasing weights will help you to build more strength and muscle mass.

Diet to build muscles

The right diet is even more important for getting muscles than training. If you diet is bad, you wont get any new muscles, no meter if you are lifting weight. First thing you must do is to eat 4-6 times a day. Eat small meals. At breakfast eat complex carbohydrates. Such as oats. Throughout the day keep your protein intake high. Eat chicken, fish and turkey meat. They are full of proteins and have low fats.

The right combination of training plan, basic workouts, and the right diet will help you to get muscles fast.

Feel free to comment and ask nay question that you haw about exercise and diet.

Web has a field day with Supreme Court ruling aftermath

The Supreme Court's ruling on the health-care law Thursday created an unparalleled social media firestorm. At one point, there were more than 13,000 tweets every minute about the decision. So it should come as no surprise that some people made incorrect statements.

One notable trend on Twitter involved people threatening to move to Canada to escape America's new health-care law. The big problem with that decision? Canada already has universal health care, which is even more involved than the newly mandated U.S. law. There was even an 18% increase in Yahoo searches for "Canadian immigration" yesterday.

Another trend included common typos in response to the new health-care law. A Tumblr page called "Affordabe Care Cat" went up in response to the common typo on the "Affordable Care Act." The blog posts one of the Internet's common subjects, pictures of cats, with clever block texts that have double meaning, including "Affordable Care Cat a Tax!" Another reads, "Affordable Care Cat is Upheld."

Cable network CNN was also made fun of. The network's now-infamous false report that the law was struck down has been immortalized in a digitally altered image that has since gone viral. Based on the photo of Harry Truman holding up a paper declaring "Dewey Defeats Truman," the new image features President Obama holding up an iPad with CNN's "Mandate Struck Down" on the screen.

If you're in the market for a new home it makes sense to call a real estate agent. However, if you are in the market for an entire Italian village, just go on eBay. The Tuscan village of Pratariccia, located just 25 miles from Florence and adjacent to a national park, is listed for sale on Italy's version of eBay, "Annunci" for $3.1 million. The eight-acre village dates to medieval times and is set in the rolling hills of Tuscany, 2,400 feet above sea level.

So what is included in the deal? There are 25 abandoned houses that are in desperate need of repair in the village. So there will be plenty of work to do, which could help boost the local economy. The group of people selling the village live outside the area. Two bids have already fallen through on the property. The first was from a group that wanted to turn the village into a luxury spa resort. Another unsuccessful bid was from a group of local artists who wanted to turn the village into an area for craftsmen and laborers.

Real estate agent Carlo Magni, who is handling the sale, said he decided to list it on eBay. "So many people buy and sell online these days that it has to be worth it." The village is not listed in the auction section, but in the classifieds. The price has already been reduced from 5 million euros, and Magni said he's been getting a lot of calls since the property was listed two weeks ago.

??? ???? ?????? ?????? Sufi News and Sufism World Report: Sufi Love ...

By Loubna Flah, Morocco World News, Casablanca June 25, 2012

It is not easy for the believer to grasp the concept of ?wholeness? in Islam. The Islamic creed remains at the centre of every Muslim?s heart , regardless of their piety, not because Muslims choose to make of it a priority but mainly because it is designed to permeates all aspects of life. In some instances, Islam stands frank and dauntless. In other occasions it slides towards the heart of the believer like a rampant celestial light yet subtle and ethereal.

It is unfortunate that the adherence to the Islamic faith has become for many a mechanistic and soulless process. The slow metamorphosis towards this religious callousness among Muslims did not happen overnight. Besides, it is of no use to blame history, society, the economic order, for religion can be a binding factor for large communities, yet its foundations are purely individual, since religiosity pertains more to the believer?s choices.

Yet, we must admit that the mainstream perception about Islam nowadays is either overpowered by negative narratives promoted by westerners or radical secularists or totally distorted by the hard line Islamists who consider Islam as a mere balance sheet with two columns of deeds and misdeeds disregarding the fact that Islam is a journey , that everyone embarks on its own venture , and that the ways to ?God? are so numerous.

In her book ?Love in Muslim Countries? Fatima Mernissi deplores the decline of ?love? in modern Muslim societies despite a miscellaneous historic legacy of love sagas rich in manifestations and in words. In her survey of Muslim lovers? itinerary, Fatima Mernissi does not miss the conjecture with the Sufis, ?The greatest lovers? of all times. Mernissi wonders why Muslims are not taught the art of love through the spectacles of those Sufis who lived in the margins of society buzz, who even risked their life for God?s sake.

In the information age and with the overdose of pragmatism and utilitarianism pumped into our veins, these refined feelings and uplifting journeys seem highly utopian and even look irrelevant to us. In addition, the journey back to the essence of divine love is not a sine qua none to the affiliation to Islam. It is only a path among a ramification of lanes that leads the believer to the safe shores of faith.

Once upon the time, there was a young man who was totally desperate and immersed in worldly concerns. While he was sitting on a bench engrossed in his thoughts, he was approached by an old man whose jilbab, hat and white beard mirrored piety and wisdom. The old man cast a quick glance at his neighbor and said ?Are you fine my son?? The young man replied automatically? it?s Ok, just some problems to solve?. The old man turned to him with a smirk on his face and said? Then why don?t you turn to your beloved, pointing his finger at the blue firmament?.

Abashed, the young man asked ?beloved, Allah? How can Allah be a ?beloved? To my knowledge, the beloved is someone you can talk to, someone you look at in the eyes and someone you can tenderly touch?.

You may wait restlessly for the old man?s answer, yet there are many answers to that legitimate question. There are many possibilities, and copious versions to the journey towards the creator. Between the passionate Sufis who sought the unification with the beloved through meditation and Zikr to those who secluded themselves in remote taverns in fear of temptation and distraction and those who relished the feeling of death in their life mumbling ? My death is to remain alive. My life is to die?, the divine love seekers have many examples, not to follow literally but to guide them in their pursuit of wholeness.

If Sufism revolves around the love of ?God? then we are all Sufis at some point or another. Women and Men?s genius lies within their ability to adjust. In the effort of adjustment comes novelty and with novelty comes innovation. The will and effort to refine one?s beliefs is by no mean mandatory, yet the adventure is highly gratifying for those who dare.

Ruling could leave the poorest at greatest risk

Former Medicaid and Medicare director Donald Berwick says few states were likely to reject the Medicaid funds despite the court's decision.

By M. Alex Johnson, msnbc.com

Updated at 7:04 p.m. ET: Now that the Supreme Court has upheld President Barack Obama's health care initiative, will Congress have to rewrite it from scratch?

It's not a paradoxical question. The court signed off on nearly all of the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act, but it struck down one provision, and in doing so ? whether it knew it or not ? it may have put the poorest Americans at the greatest risk of being left without any health insurance.

Chief Justice John Roberts said as part of the 5-4 decision that states can't be penalized for refusing to join the law's expansion of Medicaid eligibility. Health law experts said that had the practical effect of flipping an all but mandatory program into one a state can choose not to join.

Here's the problem: The ACA creates state health insurance "exchanges," providing tax credits to eligible residents to buy affordable, state-certified health insurance. But the poorest Americans aren't in that eligible pool, because the law assumes they'll be covered by the expansion of Medicaid, which is no longer a given.?

In states that reject the expansion, poor residents could be left without either form of coverage ? as many as 15 million if all 50 states opt out, a circumstance that former Medicaid director Donald Berwick said was highly unlikely.

The White House didn't address the issue in a long Q&A it issued on the court's decision. The statement touted every provision of the act but one: Medicaid expansion.

Medicaid currently covers only some low-income people, primarily parents with children, pregnant women, people with severe disabilities and senior citizens. Adults without disabilities or children, in other words, aren't generally covered. That's the group the Medicaid expansion was supposed to help the most.

Supreme Court upholds health care mandate

Obama calls ruling victory for US; Romney vows to repeal

After the ruling: Lots left to do on health reform

Full ruling from the court

If their states opt out, young working adults below the poverty line could be in a Catch-22, because "they may not get Medicaid, and they may not be eligible to purchase insurance through the exchange," said Christina S. Ho of the Rutgers University School of Law, who was a member of President Bill Clinton's Domestic Policy Council.?

It works this way:

The insurance tax credits are targeted at people with incomes between 100 percent and 400 percent of the poverty line as determined by the U.S. Census Bureau. Congress sought to compel the states to cover everyone under the line through Medicaid.

The federal government promised to fully cover all expenses for the expanded coverage before eventually pulling back to cover 90 percent after a few years. The states would have to pick up the extra 10 percent eventually.

States aren't required to take part, but if they don't, the law as enacted would have turned off the flow of all Medicaid funding from Washington.?

That enforcement mechanism is what the court invalidated Thursday, meaning there's no penalty for a state that says, "Thanks, but no thanks."

Twitter reactions to the ruling

Because states haven't had time to consider yet whether they will opt in or out. it's difficult to say how many people could be affected.?

But about half of the nearly 50 million uninsured Americans have incomes below the new eligibility thresholds, according to the latest report, in October, from the Kaiser Commission on Medicaid and the Uninsured. And about 6 in 10 of them are adults without dependent children ? the primary beneficiaries of the program's expansion.

If you do the math, roughly 15 million Americans could be in the newly created gray area. In 2010, when the act was passed, the Commonwealth Fund, an independent health care policy foundation, similarly calculated that the Medicaid expansion would benefit 12 million of the 15 million uninsured Americans under the poverty line.?

Donald Berwick, former head of the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services, which administers the two programs, said few states were likely to take that risk.

"Those people are still living in your state, They're still poor. They're going to come to your emergency room. They're going to be operated on, and they're going to have diseases that get worse, and you're going to have to pay for that. That will come from the state ? free care pools and charity in the state," Berwick said in an interview on MSNBC-TV.?

"I think what's going to happen is the states are going to be under pressure from providers of care who say: 'Why are you leaving this money on the table? Let's join in with the federal dollars.'"

But Judy Solomon, vice president for health policy at the nonpartisan Center on Budget and Policy Priorities, agreed with Ho that the decision means low-income adults could lose the promise of Medicaid coverage "even while people with somewhat higher incomes will be eligible for premium tax credits."?

Writing on the center's policy blog, Solomon said: "The poorest adults ? primarily parents and other adults working for low wages ? will be left out in the cold."

California lawmakers gave initial approval Thursday to a proposed five-year, $500-million extension of the state?s film tax credit, despite opposition from teachers and others to giving Hollywood so much financial help when the state is cutting basic services, including college aid and child care and parks services.

The Senate Governance and Finance Committee approved the legislation after Sen. Ron Calderon (D-Montebello) said his proposal is needed to help the state?s economy and prevent film productions from moving to Canada and other low-tax locations. The $100-million-per-year tax credit program began in 2009 but would expire in 2015 unless Calderon?s bill passes.

"These tax credits provided jobs in the state when they were sorely needed," Calderon said before the committee voted 5-1 to send the measure to the Appropriations Committee for consideration.

WASHINGTON (AP) ? As a junior senator, Barack Obama voted against John Roberts' nomination to the Supreme Court, fearing he would favor the powerful over the weak.

Now it is Roberts who has saved the signature achievement of Obama's presidency, the health care overhaul, in a ruling that challenges critics' assertions that the chief justice is nothing more than a conservative ideologue.

Roberts had pledged at his 2005 confirmation hearing to act as a judicial umpire, calling balls and strikes without taking sides. On Thursday, he threw conservatives a curveball.

In a 5-4 ruling upholding the health care law, Roberts wrote for the majority that it's not the court's job to decide whether Obama's plan "embodies sound policies. That judgment is entrusted to the nation's elected leaders."

After all the speculation that the Republican-leaning court would strike down the law, Roberts' opinion startled even Paul Clement, the lawyer who had made the case against the law in oral arguments before the high court in March.

"If you told people that there were four solid votes to strike down the whole thing, you know, I think most people ... would have been surprised to find that among the four were Justice (Anthony) Kennedy and not the chief justice," Clement said.

The 57-year-old chief justice hasn't gotten this much attention since he flubbed the oath of office that he administered to Obama on Inauguration Day in 2009. His mangled wording of the inaugural oath prompted a presidential do-over the next day.

Thursday's ruling induced an instant role reversal.

Liberals sang Roberts' praises. Conservatives suddenly were less enamored. Roberts had been their darling since President George W. Bush picked the federal judge to replace Chief Justice William Rehnquist.

For a second time in the court's final week of its term, Roberts had aligned himself with the liberal justices. In a decision Monday, he had voted to invalidate parts of Arizona's crackdown on illegal immigrants.

Roberts "saved the day ? and perhaps the court," in the health care ruling, said Harvard law professor Laurence Tribe, a constitutional scholar who once hired Obama as a research assistant and also had the chief justice as a student.

Democratic Rep. Brad Sherman of California chimed in: "Today I am proud to be a member of the Harvard Law School class of 1979, the class that included Chief Justice Roberts."

Sen. Charles Schumer, D-NY, said Roberts had "acted as the umpire he promised to be."

Republican lawmakers largely focused on their dismay with the ruling, steering clear of its author, although Sen. David Vitter, R-La., accused Roberts of "amazingly rewriting the law in order to uphold it."

Other critics let loose.

A National Review Online editorial, under the title "Roberts's Folly," said the chief justice and his colleagues had "done violence" to the Constitution. Hackers briefly changed Roberts' title on Wikipedia to "Chief Traitor of the United States" and labeled him a "coward." T-shirts declaring "Impeach John Roberts" were soon on sale.

As Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney spoke out strongly against the ruling, his website lagged behind, still promising, "As president, Mitt will nominate judges in the mold of Chief Justice Roberts."

Once the shock at the ruling wore off, the questions about Roberts' motivations began.

Did he do it to salvage the court's image? Was he trying to preserve his legacy?

The court's reputation for impartiality took a major hit with the 5-4 ruling that awarded the presidency to Republican Bush over Democrat Al Gore in 2000. With the court's liberal and conservative justices often sharply divided in recent years, a CBS News-New York Times poll this month found that 76 percent of those surveyed thought the justices were at least sometimes influenced by their own political or personal opinions rather than the law.

The latest numbers from Gallup, which has tracked confidence in the court since 1973, are among the lowest the court has ever received.

William Galston, a former Clinton administration official, wrote that Roberts may have "had one eye focused on jurisprudence and another on the standing of the institution he heads."

But Richard Garnett, a University of Notre Dame law professor and former Supreme Court clerk to Rehnquist, rejected the idea that Roberts was out to please the public.

"Chief Justice Roberts is a guy who is trying hard to get the right answer even in hard cases that have political implications," Garnett said. Still, Garnett said the ruling might help to change public impressions, acknowledging that there was "a narrative that was being set up" painting the court in highly partisan terms.

Michael Dorf, a Cornell University law professor who clerked for Kennedy, said the ruling shouldn't be taken as evidence that Roberts has lost his conservative bent.

"There's no doubt that Roberts is a generally conservative justice," Dorf said. "What this case demonstrates is that he is not simply an ideologue and he was led where the arguments led him."

There was some speculation that Roberts had even thrown a bone to conservatives by going out of his way in the ruling to agree with their position that Congress lacked the power under the Constitution's commerce clause to put the mandate for health insurance in place.

In 2005, Obama, a former constitutional law professor, explained his vote against Roberts' confirmation by saying that the judge was qualified in temperament and scholarship for most of what comes before the high court, but not for those truly difficult cases where "the critical ingredient is supplied by what is in the judge's heart."

Rep. Tom Cole, R-Okla., predicted Roberts' stock with the president is a notch higher these days.

"I bet he gets an engraved Christmas card invitation to the White House," Cole said. "He's pretty popular right now, down there at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue."

Thread: Shop made chain drive twin screw vise - Family Woodworking

Several years ago I made a twin screw chain drive vise for my old work bench and now I have a new bench so I decided to make a new one. This vise is different than any other ones I have seen before. It operates like a mechanics vise. The screws are towards the bottom of the jaws and there are slides that keep the jaws from wracking. I will try to go through the steps to make one.

First you need some steel tube to make the slides, you need 2 different sizes and the smaller one needs to slide inside the larger one without much play. I happened to have some laying around. The larger piece was 1.25" outside and the small piece was 1.125" outside.

I made the jaws out of beech and drilled holes for the slides to go in. To get the holes accurately spaced I clamped both jaws together then clamped them the the drill press. I drilled the 1.25" in the stationary jaw then changed the bit and drilled the 1.125" hole in the moving jaw, I did that without moving the the jaws on the drill press. This way the slides will line up.

For the screws I used 5/8" all thread. You could use whatever you want but for me the 5/8 was cheap and easy to get. At the end of the large slides you need to weld on some nuts. Then put the slides in the jaws. You can press them in with a clamp or gently hammer them in using a wood block to protect the slides.

At this time you should be able to slide the jaws together

The next step is to cut all thread. To measure it just pull out the movable jaw to what you want the max opening to be and measure from the outside of the jaw to the nut at the end of the slide and maybe add and inch or so.

To allow the movable jaw to follow when opening the vise I double nutted inside small slide. A washer goes on the outside and is screwed on the jaw. Then the sprocket goes on. I welded a nut on the sprocket so I could screw the sprocket on then tighten the set screws on the sprocket.

Then screw on the handle which I tapped to screw right on the all thread and tighten against the nut. and put on the chain. It may be a good idea to plan the distance between screws so the length of the chain works out well. Somehow I got lucky both times I built the vises and the chain is snug but not tight.
